Our long partnership with iFixit continues with more revealing X-ray images. Not only do the images provide a roadmap for the physical teardown, they reveal features that can’t otherwise be seen, even in a thorough disassembly. The X-rays revealed distinctly different wireless charging coils between Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra teardown, a distinction that the physical teardown did not bring to light.
This time, iFixit disassembled both the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra simultaneously, providing side by side comparison of the two models, which you can read here. There you’ll also find links to their repair guide, video teardown, and their final verdict in the form of their repairability score. Below, you can peek at some additional X-ray images of the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra (click on any of the images to enlarge).
