The Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) is in the process of electing its board of directors, and Creative Electron’s Dr. Bill Cardoso would appreciate your support as he seeks to continue his service to this important organization. SMTA serves a critical role in supporting and advocating for the electronics manufacturing industry, and as a current board member, Dr. Cardoso looks to further contribute to SMTA’s ongoing success.
“Networking through our local chapter as well as at national events has meant so much to the growth of Creative Electron since our founding. There’s a unique comradery among SMTA members and leadership that fosters collaboration and a sense of shared prosperity, and as a board member I’ve been able to both benefit from and contribute to that culture.” In over a decade of involvement with SMTA, Dr. Cardoso has served as an officer in his local chapters, has served in the technical committee for the SMTA International (organizing the Inspection Track for the past 5 years), the LED conference, and the Counterfeit Symposium. Over these years, he’s traveled the world speaking at over 50 SMTA chapter meetings, expos, and conferences.
SMTA’s efforts are broad, and include technology and innovation initiatives, industry partnerships, and technical education. “I’m particularly passionate about furthering SMTA’s education initiatives, especially those focused on developing the next generation of SMT industry leaders and innovators,” said Dr. Cardoso. “We’ve long supported such efforts in our local community, and have definitely experienced the positive impact.”
Please take a moment now and cast a ballot for Dr. Bill Cardoso. The polls are open now through August 9th, 2021, so please vote today, https://vote.associationvoting.com/smta/. Thanks for your support of Dr. Cardoso and SMTA. Together, we will continue to do great things.
