There are several applications out there that require the x-ray inspection of vertical samples. For example, if you want to check the fill level in a vial of paint. In this case you can’t lay the sample flat on the stage – which is required in a vertical system (most x-ray machines out there). Instead, in the TruView™ H the x-ray source and sensor are placed in such a way that the beam is horizontal, thus allowing the sample to be inspected standing up.
